Before you share photos, remember

In cybersmart I learned that, when you put  a  photo online you don't include your personal details because hackers and scams can show up out of nowhere. You communicate online by blogs or email, but never tell anybody where you live or your personal detail unless its your family because  then they could have access to everything online that you have. That's why you should never share your personal details.

WOW! This year was a great year and now it has come to an end. I would like to thank my teacher Miss Mills, Mr Presnall and Fairy Judy. I would like to thank all my friends that have helped me this year. I have made a lot of  friendships this year. Here is a photo of me and my closet friend, Jiraiya. 
This year I have enjoyed Beach Ed because it was fun and interactive. We got to have fun in and around the water.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped me through 2019, I won't be here in the last week of school because I will be in Australia.

Black Ferns get same amount of pay as the All Blacks? YES

Fiao’o Fa’amausili said that the black ferns should get the same amount of pay with the All Blacks, and I agree because the black ferns are representing their country in rugby like the All Blacks. That's why I agree with her.

On Saturday the 23d of November, Owairaka went to the annual Culture festival at Rocket park. I had fun performing for the Samoan group, but the other thing I loved was the food. When I finished my performance, I went to the pools and got sunburned there. My question is, Which performance was your favourite?

WRITING WEEK 6!!!!

BOOM, BOOM. The storm raged on as me and my crew were struggling to survive in this undisputed storm. Before very long, the storm calmed down and the sea calmed down as well, but one thing didn’t calm down was my heart. It was beating faster than ever because this storm was unexpected and it was the worst storm ever. SNAP! The ship snapped in half like a twig getting stood on. The boat was about to plunge into the water and then I knew that we had 5 minutes to get on a boat.  Would we make it? Or would we die? The earth began to shatter...

On tuesday the 5th of November. Our school went to athletics. I had fun on tuesday because there was a mixture of sports. The main event was track, you run 100 meters, then 800, then 200 and last but not leastes, 400 meters.

On the 18 of the 10, an olympian named Richie Patterson visited out school. He showed us his path and how he became a gold medalist. He gave us some tips about weight lifting. Did you know that his primary school had 27 students and that his intermediate had only 4 students. He went to Auckland Grammar School. His message was to never give up and to keep trying even if you fail.He won a gold medal in the 2014 commonwealth games.

Day 1: The humongous Fish Day 2: The Impossible Bridge Day Tree: The Magic Tree

When the Vikings were born, a fish was born too. Not like the usual small snapper, but is was elephantine in size. This fish was a snapper, and every fisherman in the world wanted to catch it. So it hid. It slept through the nights and the days, waiting to be free once more. But one day, he fell asleep and almost died. When he woke up, his fin was a house with a miniature boat. The eye of that sinister fish was red. He was angrier than a Hornet! The Snapper rumbled with anger, like an earthquake striking a city. The family that lived inside that miniature house, looked out there window with shock.  They were really moving. They could see ripples forming in the water below. As, they were moving swiftly, they were screaming with fear,"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Where would they go now??

The fish pulled up against the Grand Canyon, the family jumped of and were glad that they were on solid ground.
Slowly, the sun rose over the horizon as the golden rays hit the floor of the Grand Canyon. The horrified family huddled by a bridge that looked impossible to cross. At the bottom of the  canyon, bones and dust lay there like  statues.  By 8 O'clock, the moon was shining like the stars in the heavens. Scared, the colossal snapper swam away, never to be seen again. Anxiously and carefully, the family ran by some blown down trees. The wind blew loudly, as it whistled, Getttttt out of here. As they ran, they heard something growl in the trees. They froze. Something furious, with sharp teeth and shagged claws leaped out of nowhere, launching  like a plane. They spotted a bridge that was broken and that had missing pallets. They ran as fast as the wind. The wind blew the bridge, this way, and that way. This was the only was out. There is no turning back now. They sprinted across the broken bridge. As the ran, they heard the mysterious creature, howl loudly. They ran and sprinted, not to look back. Where would they go now??

• Once a tree formed, not like all the other lanky trees, wide trees, or even rotten trees. This tree had a portal that only special people like Donald Trump could enter. Everything was normal until the war. WW3 World War 3. 3 nuclear bombs were going to be released . Only one family survived. This family had a great adventure. They rode on a giant snapper, they got chased by a mysterious creature , and now survived 3 nuclear bombs. Everything and everyone in America, died. Only one tree stood. It was the magic tree. Everything that family had suffered, had come from that one tree. They were planning on destroying the tree, once and for all.  When they got there, it was heavily guarded. It was guarded by Wolves and Bears. It was bare and deserted. An orange light shone like the Sun behind the Wolves and the Bears. Orange mist was everywhere.  The fog was thicker than a tree. You could hardly see anything. This tree had a hole inside it. And inside that hole. Another dimension lay. This dimension had a Moon like Earth's Moon. Green mist was everywhere in this dimension, with weird sounds coming from in there. They wondered how they would get in. At midnight, the Moon shone like the Sun. Slowly and carefully, they creeped around the tree quietly and anxiously.  This tree was different to the other trees. It contained magic. They wondered how they were going destroy it.

Day Tree: The Ghostly Shadow

Anxiously, the man that was unattended, was being hunted by his own shadow. His shadow scoured the woods like an Owl, swooping from tree to tree. The night was dark and misty, he was getting hunted down like a criminal. He saw it, one second you saw it, the next you didn't.  He stuck in the middle of some haunted forest.

Day 2: The North Pole

Loudly and rapidly, the man and his huskies rushed towards mountains and to the peaks that were high above the clouds. They were unattended on weak and damaged ice that was in the middle of nowhere. As they rode further, it became night and a huge flash of lightning struck a peak, the thunder in the heavens roared with might like a lion roaring at his prey. The sky turned black and a big amount of rain, poured down on them. The ground beneath them started to shatter as the huskies howled with fear. They needed to get off the ice, and quick...

THE AMAZING ART EXHIBITION

 We had an amazing time looking for our favourite piece. I found my favourite piece on the stage . I don't know which class owns it but I like this one right here. I liked this one because of the colours and the effort that went into it. Plus, I like Tui's alot. I made 2 pieces of art. I made a 3d one and a 2d one. Here is pictures of both of them. I worked hard on them and I am proud of my self.

Day 1: The Greatest Library😀

Gracefully, the unattended girl read forever, after one book, she would read another.She sat on the blue chair. The sunset on the horizon was perfect, the breeze was just right to read a book. The books name was "Hanslet and Jettle"( I do not know how to spell that.) As the girl read her book, the birds which were books started to fly north, this was no ordinary library. But a happy place to read. The best day ever, she thought.

The Phenomenal theatre!! 😁👍

Today, Kauri team were invited to the Film Festival which was at the Auckland civic theatre. We watched 14 amazing films from around the world. There were many films that we liked but these are our top 3:

I liked the first film because it was so hilarious and something that I noticed is that the fat one was fat and the skinny ones were skinny. Th reason we went is because we are working on our own films.

It is Green Week and this morning we had a visit from a park ranger  who used to be a teacher at our own school!! She talked to us about native birds and how to keep them safe. She also showed us some predator birds and predator  animals. She told us all about the Kereru and the Tui.

We learned about how Possums and Totes came to New Zealand .

The fact I found most interesting was that the Possums and Totes came from Auzzi and Europe. 

To look after the native birds we must kill Possums and Totes to make their population go down.

BUDDY CLASS WITH ROOM6

On Wednesday the 26th of June  had buddy class with Room 6 and with some kids from Tua Tahi  because we didn't have buddy class in term. I really liked how they were nice and calm.Me and Chance took a random buddy and read him, Don't eat the teacher and Guinnes world records.

This term we have been learning about space  and this week we have been learning about Matariki. We made really cool pictures of our favourite planet and some Moons of that planet, I do not know any Moons that surround Neptune and its beautiful storms. The reason I loved this task is because I really like how it is fun and how it looks so realistic.

Run!! Cross Country

This week Kauri team did their Cross Country. It was so amazing, the hardest part for me was the stairs by the field behind the school. I came 8th, its the best Iv'e ever come!!!!! I had a great time, at one point i was first then my legs were dead so I just slowed down until 10th place. I had so much fun.

Yesterday we had an amazing guest who came 3rd in 2018, her sport is boxing and she attended to the Common Wealth Games and The Olympic Games!! Alexis Pritchard!! She came 9th in 2014 out of 14. She gave us a few tips:

THE AMAZING STARDOME TRIP!!!😒😁

On Friday The 17TH Of May, Rm 24 Joined Rm 22 And Rm 25 For  A Trip To Stardome.

We Had A Workshop With Josh And Learned A Lot About Space And Planets.

One Thing I Learned Is, The Milky Way Is Called"The Milky Way"Because In The Night Sky If You Look Hard Enough You Can See A White Line Going From One Side Of The Side To The Other Side And Because  From Space The Milky Way Looks Like Milk Swirling Into A Black Hole Or Something Like A Storm made Out Of Milk!!😮 That Would Be So Yum And Fun. Our VR Session😍👌

Yesterday we had our VR session. It was the best thing I have ever been to. We had a look at creatures and other things under water, like Mangroves. One thing I was angry at was something called a Run Of. It is like, when a farm is close to the Sea or the Ocean all of the animals, their poo gets washed and carried into the Ocean. One way we can get rid of all the poo and the other disgusting stuff is blocking every single Run Of in the world using a very strong material such as metal wood and titanium.
